Fire Hose - Firefighter Axe pen

Material: Retired fire hose. 
Kit used: Chrome Firefighter Axe 
I made this pen using actual an retired fire department fire hose. It was cut and layered and formed together using resin. I turned it on my lathe and finished it with 8 coats of mercury flex CA glue that was then wet sanded to a high gloss shine. It has an axe for the pocket clip that you click out to extend the ink to write and again to retract it back in.
